The 26th annual International Fireworks Display Contest in Macau China will take place in September and October 2014. The 2014 Macau International Fireworks Competition 2014 will be displayed at Macau Tower and Macau Tower shore front of the city. The dates of the event will be soon announced. As usual, the contest will stretch for five weeks, and the final night of the competition will be fired on the 1st October 2014 to celebrate the National Day of China.
The organizing board is recruiting the participating teams for the next coming competition. International teams who want to participate the festival can register not for qualifying.
Last year, there were 10 international competing teams from Australia, Canada, China, France, Italy, Korea, Portugal, South Africa and Spain participating in the 2013 edition that was held in on on Saturday 14th September, Thursday 19th September, Saturday 21st September and the Tuesday 1st October.
As similar as Malta Fireworks Festival in Europe, the event is one of biggest tourism events in Asia that is expected to draw more and more international visitors coming to Macau China every year.
