The tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa is the greatest masterpiece of construction in Dubai. With the height of 828 meters, this magnificent building is much higher than the previous world’s tallest buildings – CN Tower (553.33 meters), Taipei 101 (508 meters), and Petronas Towers (452 meters). The development of Burj Khalifa began in January 2004 and finished in September 2009, but the public were not allowed to enter the building until January 4, 2010, the official opening date of the building.

Burj Khalifa not only symbolizes the great development of Dubai, but also the other Middle-East Country. It proves that the Asian countries are not left far behind the European or American. Recently, from the 4 most tallest buildings in the world, 3 of them are even located in Asia. Through the establishment of Burj Khalifa, the other Asian countries are encouraged to give contribution to the modern technology and design in the world.

Exploring the tower

Being the tallest building in the world doesn’t make it as the only excellence of Burj Khalifa. Inside the building, visitors can find many unforgettable attraction, for example, shopping place, restaurants, beauty cares, fitness centers, childcare, properties, and entertainment. The entertainment provided in this building are the Dubai Fountain, Dubai Ice Ring, Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, and the other fabulous entertainment.

The Dubai fountain has 275 meters long and performs more than 1,000 expressions of water showered by colorful lights. Dubai Ice Ring is a very large ring for skating with precisely 350 spectators’ seats located in Dubai Mall. The other one, Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo enables the visitors to have a look at thousands species of sea animals including the large ones like sharks and dolphins. These attractions provided inside Burj Khalifa are probably nothing compare to the invincible views of Dubai sighted from the top of Burj Khalifa.

Burj Kalifa receives many world’s records other than the tallest building on earth including the tallest service elevator in the world, the highest outdoor observation deck in the world, the highest number of stories in the world, and so on with the total of seven awards given to this symbol of Dubai.
