Hong Kong is know as citiy of events with hundreds international and regional events held here for all year round. One of biggest events to celebrate New Year and Lunar New Year of the Goat in Hong Kong is the International Flower Show. The Hong Kong Flower Show 2015 – lasting for ten days from 20 to 29 March 2015- is a major event organised by HK Leisure and Cultural Services Department to promote horticulture and the awareness of greening. The flower icon of the show is Oncidium and the theme o is When Blossoms Dance.
Organized annually, Hong Kong Flower Show provides a good opportunity for hundreds of thousands of local people of Hong Kong and Mainland China together with horticulture lovers all over the world to appreciate the beauty of flowers and share their experiences in the cultivation of flowers. This year, the event will be grandly held at Victoria Park in Causeway Bay on Hong Kong Island. The open time is from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm everyday. The admission fee of the event is $14 for normal rate and $7 for concessionary rate (including children aged 4 -14 and full-time students, senior citizens aged 60 or above, persons with disabilities and minder). The Hong Kong Flower Show 2015 exhibits a rich profusion of potted plants, beautiful floral arrangements and gorgeous landscape displays.There will be photo competition, student art competition and plant exhibit competition together with commercial stalls selling flowering plants and other horticultural products. There will be also music and cultural performances, floral art demonstrations, cooking demonstrations, greening activities workshops, green stalls, guided visits, recreation programs and fun games.

There are 2 easiest ways to get to HK Flower Show 2015 as below:
- MTR Causeway Bay Station, Exit E. Walk along Great George Street until reaching Victoria park. It is an approximately ten-minute walk.
- MTR Tin Hau Station, Exit A2. Turn left at the exit and continue ahead until reaching Victoria park.
