Da Nang Marathon 2014

Following the success of the first Da Nang International Marathon in 2013, the second race is scheduled to run on Sunday, 31st August 2014. As stated on the official website of the tournament, the details of Da Nang Marathon 2014 is coming soon and the registration is coming in November 2013.

Da Nang is one of the major port cities in Vietnam and the biggest city on the South Central Coast of Vietnam. The city is situated on the coast of the South China Sea, at the mouth of the Han River and the foot of Marble Mountains.

The first Da Nang marathon was running on 31st August and 1st September 2013 with the participating of 117 runners for Full Marathon (42km), 166 runners for Half Marathon and thousands amateur runners joining 5km Fun run. The race also included the charity auction to donate Da Nang Cancer Hospital.

Da Nang International Marathon is organized by World Marathon, Incorporation from Houston city in Texas State, United States.  The run is set to be an annual tournament in the efforts to make Da Nang a city of tourism and sports events in central Vietnam.
