The 17th Asian Games or Asiad 2014 – the biggest sporting event in Asia – will be held in Incheon city, South Korea. The games will be governed by Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). The sport competition will last from the 19th September to the 4th October 4, 2014.  Asiad 2014 will feature 437 events in 36 sports and disciplines.

The Incheon Metropolitan City literally ‘wise river’, formerly romanized as Inchon, is located in northwestern South Korea. Incheon is the third city in South Korea after Seoul (1986) and Busan (2002) to host the Asian Games.
