Macau Fireworks Competition 2013

Ten international fireworks teams will get together for the 25th Macau International Fireworks Competition that will take place on Saturday 14th September 2013, Thursday 19th September 2013, Saturday 21st September 2013, Saturday 28th September 2013 and Tuesday 1st October 2013. The fireworks will be displayed at Macau Tower and Macau Tower shore front of the city.

Ten international competing teams from Australia, Canada, China, France, Italy, South Korea, Portugal, South Africa and Spain will participate in the fireworks contest. In which, 4 team won first prize in the previously competitions. This year,  it is the first time an African fireworks team will joined the contest together with 3 teams from Canada, Switzerland and China.

All competing teams will fire their performance synchronized with music. As well they will also be allowed to use laser shows for the first time this 2013 competition.  Each firework display will last for approximately 18 minutes. The contest is held over a 5 week period (please see full schedule below) and the final night of the competition is always held on the 1st October to coincide with China National Day.

The 25th Macau International Fireworks Competition will last for 5 weeks. The final night of the competition will be held on Tuesday the 1st October 2013 to celebrate  China National Day.

The Macau International Fireworks Competition 2013 is expected to attract thousands of visitors coming to Macau, China (just after Macao Chinese Lunar New Year and New Year’s Eve holidays). As scheduled, the next coming 26th Macau International Fireworks Competition will be held in September and October 2014.
